Alta Verapaz Vacation Packages

A beautiful property with incredibly helpful and polite staff. The staff was quick and responsive in communication. The foliage and courtyard were gorgeous and so well maintained. Had a gorgeous rooftop with a 360 view that you could relax on, watch the sunset, view Antigua from above and even see Fuego erupt. The laundry service was great. I needed clothes washed and you simply give them to the front desk and they give them back to you later washed. The room was quaint. A small, cottage feel. Although it was slightly lacking in amenities. The hair dryer provided didn't work. Although I'm sure if I told the staff they would have come quickly with a replacement, they were very responsive. The rooms had gorgeous giant windows, but lacked screens. The weather was so nice, but we couldn't even open the windows because mosquitos would come in the room and bite us. So it was quite hot in the room without airflow. There was no ceiling fan, but they did provide tower fans for us to use, which did help a bit, but it would have been better with fresh air. Another thing was the room had no mini fridge. So we couldn't have any cold beverages and if you plan to stay here, don't bring back any left overs because theres no where to preserve them. ):

Beautiful cabins, but terrible communication with the reception staff who don’t know their own policies, overcharge, and are inflexible in finding solutions. Sadly, two consecutive poor experiences with reception staff is enough to avoid us returning to this location or recommending it to others.
