I stayed at Cham Cham for 8 nights. The hotel is very new and clean. I stayed in explore twin room by myself. It is big enough. It is a bit far from Taipei, so if you need naps or rest in mid day while visit Taipei, Cham Cham location is not ideal for that.
The review for the staff is mixed. The cleaning crew was very thorough and friendly. However, the front desk staff was not very friendly. They were not mean, but didn't really care for saying Hi to the guests. They didn’t smile at all nor care for any questions I had for them. As a traveler, naturally I have some questions, they were not helpful and not friendly. No smile at all. They all seemed like college-aged students who treated this job like another part-time job versus a job in the hospitality service business. This is very different from other hotels I stayed in in Taiwan.

I didn't see any water bottles like most hotels offer in the rooms. But everything else was good. I would stay again.

Fenchihu Hotel was perfect for our overnight to Alishan. The staff was excellent and very helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we had proper arrangements to see the Alishan Sunrise and even helped us coordinate our trip to Sun Moon Lake. We loved it!

This property is in the middle of the tea plantation, great view from the room. The Sunset trail is right outside of the entrance. The breakfast is decent with good selection. Fresh made soy milk, coffee and tea.
