"Everything was clean, staff very friendly."

"I am sorry but this hotel was probably one of the worst we've ever stayed in. Property looks deserted, minus the cars in the parking lot. Our non-smoking room smelled like an old bar with stale cigarettes. No rooms available that we could be moved to. Needed a hair dryer, there wasnt one in the room. Went downstairs to front desk to ask for one, figured they needed to be requested. She said there "should be one in your room", i said there wasnt one, she said "oh". Then she said she would ask one of the long term customer's for one and she would call me. I said there is no phone in the room, she said "oh". She did bring me one and she is why I didn't give this place a one star review. She was very nice and her name was Kristin. For the hotel, what a sad site. I remember the original hotel and this place is still decorated like it was 30 years ago! Except no more kitchen, so no food. The spa was broken, trash on the grounds, the grounds are dead trees, weeds, no lights leading up to the road, our door wouldn't shut unless you pulled on it, housekeeping is there once a week (not a joke) and groundskeeping doesn't exist. What a shame that the owners don't care, clearly they're just greedy. The place has amazing potential but it's falling apart. Oh! Rooms not clean: vomit remnants behind toilet, dog food along wall, upholstery filthy, room smells horrible, I wore my sandals in the room because carpet is so old and crusty. BEWARE!"

"The bath tub was disgusting, I wore my flip flops in there to shower. The walls are so thin I could hear the people next to me. The dryers in the laundry room took over an hour to dry a load."

"The room just had a bed, no chair, table or desk. Only one set of towels. We stayed for two nights and the room wasn’t made up or cleaned the first day. Check in was very slow. The property was old and needed cleaned up and renovated."

"Great facility but terrible staff. Front desk interrogated and questioned me for every little ask. Housekeeping didn’t seem to care too much about keep the surrounding areas clean. Bedsheets were dirty upon arrival. "

"Breakfast was quite good for a basic hotel-style breakfast. Plenty of free/safe parking. No real staff interaction, so I can't comment here. Definitely get the Lake View room."

"The hotel is old, but extremely well kept, and the staff was all amazing! A very neat place with paintings of many movie stars and movie scenes all over the walls throughout. The beds were great, the shower very good, and there was a free hot breakfast that was also very good. The restaurant/lounge onsite is very neat - stop in and see it even if you aren't hungry or thirsty. We would definitely stay here again."
