Donner Bliss - Remodeled Lakefront Cabin on Donner, 180 Views, Dog Friendly, with Private Pier

"Majestic views of Donner Lake on the South side. No shortage of stairs if you are looking to get some exercise at elevation. The South Side is shady which is perfect if the temperature is warm. Definitely consider staying there again in the future. The private dock was well used by all."

"This Lakefront property in Donner Lake is a gem, despite the stairs going up and down to get to the property it was totally worth it. Then you’re greeted. with the most Spectacular view of the Donner lake and the mountains. We also love the private dock to hangout barbecue and kayak with the family. We had an amazing time. The place was nice and clean. The fridge in the kitchen took a little time to get cold. Overall we loved the place. The host was nice and helpful ,and communication was good.9/10.."

"We found the spot last minute due to rain making camping difficult. They were very helpful and accommodating for our late check in. Much less expensive than staying in Nevada City while still being an easy 10 min drive back to town to explore downtown Nevada City and get dinner. In the morning we had a good/filling buffet style breakfast before getting back on the road to explore the country roads and swimming holes. Will be recommending to friends as an easy alternative to camping when exploring the Tahoe National Forest and Yuba River areas."

"The perfect hidden gem nestled into the mountains!we went to a wedding in graeagle and this was such a better rental experience then what was available nearby. Great hikes all around and a quiet and private stay."

"Very cute cabin and was nicely furnished with wonderful views of Donner Lake. We really enjoyed the wood decor and vaulted wood ceilings. The bedrooms were cozy and the loft was very comfortable. The outside deck made for comfortable mornings sipping coffee and evenings having dinner viewing Donner Lake. The cabin has pretty everything a family would need to feel at home. My only suggestion would be to update the sheets to cotton and some of the pots/pans are a bit tired. Overall, a very nice place and would definitely come back."
