Alpine Meadows Condo

This condo is about a quarter to a half mile from the ski lifts at Alpine Meadows and is perfect for a group looking to lay their head after charging all day on the slopes. This two-story condo offers three bedrooms, three baths which means it comfortably sleeps eight and seats that many as well. We figure everyone should have a place at the dinner table, don't you?

Enjoy nights in front of the pellet stove, take advantage of the free Wi-Fi and snuggle up with your favorite show on Netflix, Direct TV, fully equipped galley kitchen, and comfy living room accommodations. Since you are set back in a quiet community near Alpine Meadows ski area we suggest you pull out some cards or games to entertain the little ones. There are many hiking trails nearby if you're ready to do some trekking in the spring, summer, and fall months!

The main floor as you enter has the kitchen, dining area, living room with balcony, one full bath with laundry facilities and two bedrooms. Each bedroom on the downstairs level has a queen bed. Upstairs you will find the third bedroom with its own small deck and one full bathroom. The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a set of twin bunk beds so it sleeps 4 upstairs.

PROPERTY NOTES
* EFFECTIVE 5/27/2024 - The decks at the condo are not safe for use. The HOA has notified all owners NOT to use the decks until further notice.
*Condo has an exterior camera at the entrance. There are no cameras inside.
* We provide a starting supply of toilet paper, paper towel, and laundry detergent, but recommend bringing extra for longer stays.
* We do not provide shampoo / conditioner / or body wash although there could be some left from previous guests.
* We recommend 4 x 4, AWD, or carrying snow chains in the winter months.
* There is no air conditioning in this rental.
* We do not provide firewood, but it can be purchased at locals shops.
* There is no garage for short term renters, sorry.
* This property's door auto-locks, keep your key with you at all times.
* TV/Internet is satellite based and there could be disruptions to service during winter conditions, or heavy snow fall.
* There is no central heat. Each room has an electric baseboard heater with thermostat.

Very Convenient

Couldn't be better located for skiing at Alpine. Also a great location for exploring all of the Lake Tahoe area.

Overall great experience, many beds

Stayed there for 3 nights during the summer. The place is very well located, a short drive from Tahoe city. The place was clean and the check-in/out process was very smooth. Lots of towels for everyone and more than enough beds. Great for a large group everyone was super impressed with the place and would recommend to their friends!

Good time

Overall it was a nice little vacation the only thing I’d say is about the showers, the shower hoses are bad, the water goes everywhere because they’re not well adjusted or who knows what it else it might need, other than that everything else was great! I also forgot my daughter iPad in the house right by all the board games and would really appreciate if you guys can ship it out to my place, I’d really appreciate that! Thank you guys so much!

Just ok..

This property had no A/C, which was awful when its's 86+ out. Its never mentioned in the listing, which I feel it should be. The unit itself, I feel is slowly sinking beneth the master bdrm. I did not feel safe. The mstr windows did not close properly and neither did the mstr bdrm door. You could feel yourself walking downhill. The upstaris was a sauna most of the time. Also the internet was extremley slow and the TV rarely worked. Other than that, the property was clean and nice. Beds were comfy.

Nice time at the Dolby condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall nice experience, and we appreciate this great benefit as employees. The property was well kept, well equipped and quiet. I'd say this is probably a better place for renting in the winter, given the proximity to Alpine lodge. For summer, it's still quite nice, but not as close to the lake if you want to go to the beach. The only fly in the ointment was that the property wasn't ready at the 3pm move-in time, as the cleaning crew flaked on the day of our check in. We had to wait a couple of hours to check in after driving up for the Bay Area. When we unpacked, the bath towels were still in the dryer, and not dry, so we ran them for a cycle. When we checked out, the cleaning crew was basically sitting outside the property, waiting for us to check out, which I found off-putting. The property folks shaved a little off the price, which was nice. Overall, it was a fine time, and we had a good stay in Tahoe.

The only note that I would make is about the furniture at the condo is quite uncomfortable if you want to sit around the fireplace and/or watch tv. I would suggest getting a good quality couch.
