"We stayed during Easter long weekend. The first impression is that the place is so clean and tastefully decorated. The bed mattresses are very comfortable, and it is easy and quick to adjust the heat to your liking making for a good night’s sleep after a day of hiking. "Check in set up was smooth. Excellent communication. The hosts couldn't do enough for us and the lake was spectacular! We were there early October for 2 nights so we had the whole place to ourselves, including kayaks and a paddleboard. Fire pit and chairs for marshmallows. Perfect!"

"Wonderful cottage, reminded me of cottages my parents rented when I was a kid! Very clean, well equipped kitchen and really did have everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, love the sandy beach area and our grandson loved it also, spending a lot of time picking up snails and pinecones! Great Lake for canoeing, kayaking, swimming and fishing! "The main concern is that the listing did not indicate that there was a bottom unit. It was listed as a three bedroom home. In the short time we were there, three different groups were in the bottom unit. One group came to our door as not sure where to go. Parking was not designated for each unit. Bees were on hood of car first day due to nearby nest. Dishwasher was full of dirty dishes, leftover food in fridge. "We had a great relaxing weekend here. Property manager Andy was very friendly and easy going. He set us up with firewood and got us set up with the pontoon boat we rented to use for the weekend. Our cottage was right on the lazy river so we made sure to float down it in the provided tubes. Overall great low key weekend on beautiful Buckhorn Lake."

"Me and my friends had a great time at Isay’s cottage this weekend. There was plenty of room for the 10 of us to sleep comfortably and the cottage was kept very clean. The sauna and hot tub are nice additions and we enjoyed using the canoe and paddle board that was available. Isay also had the kitchen well stocked with dishes and seasonings for our use as well as board games and was very accommodating . "Loved our experience at the Blue House. The open concept living rm/kitchen was great and better than shown in the pictures. Beds were comfortable and the house had all we needed for our stay. The host even organized the drop-off of a space heater for one room that was a bit cold, so we were very comfortable. The only improvement would be the dishwasher, since it doesn't clean the dishes very well, even when rinsed. A few more glasses would also be helpful."
