"Excellent rental. My only difficulty was arriving at midnight. No lights to find the narrow dirt road to the house. It was pitch black. I parked the car on the street and walked around until I was sure of where the road was to the house and where the lockbox was with the key. Once inside it was lovely, clean, welcoming and a perfect location."

"In town for our daughters graduation. The home was perfect in every way! Clean, all rooms are a good size, nicely situated kitchen, beautiful deck for socializing, our guests did not feel like we were on top of each other. Plenty of blankets, towels, kitchen supplies. Everything in good working condition. The home has antique charm with updated benefits. The host Mark was easy to communicate with. We walked to town and loved every part of our weekend! Its a must! "Overall do not stay in this house! They are scamming people! They say they are military family yet took advantage of one!! Still owe me my refund and refuse to answer VRBO to give the okay to refund my money! This place was not clean it was very unsanitary and there were drug paraphernalia in the backyard! Towels wet and dirty on the bathroom floor and one of the bedrooms the sheets were dirty in the floor claimed that the house keeper cleaned it! The pool was disgusting!! I have videos pictures...

"This little house is tucked behind some bigger neighbors. It was comfortable and quiet! We had a ball watching the antics of a family of squirrels. It fit our needs perfectly!"

"Nice house, clean and as described. Much of the hullabaloo about the neighborhood is a bit overblown. Fair Haven is a bit crunchy, but at no point did any of us feel unsafe or have any problems. Sure, don’t book the house is you’re looking for a suburban paradise. But the house itself was immaculate and very close to the key points on interest in New Haven. Very happy with our choice!"
