Very nice, comfortable room, nice to have the kitchen. Lots of space outside to eat and relax! The kids loved the animals and that it’s clise to Legoland! The restaurant near by was really nice too and also easy to get around without a car.

Being a family of 5 means difficulties finding one room arrangements to fit us all. The Kings suite with 3 bedrooms and a full kitchen/living room at the Taj was ideal and worked out essentially the same as booking two rooms in a standard hotel in central London. This was my first time booking through Expedia which saved $ and also scored free breakfast each day for our entire clan. (Moreover, this is the first time I have ever left a hotel review!). To be honest, I had never even heard of the...

This a beautiful small hotel adjacent to the British Museum. The staff are friendly, attentive and committed to ensure comfort and a great stay. Great food in the restaurant, atmosphere in the bar and central sitting with coffee in the morning and hot chocolate in the afternoon. Short walk to Russel Square tube Station gives quick access to the London sites and a direct connection to Heathrow. Will definitely stay again the next time we are in London.

Everything was good for a "budget 5-star hotel". Keep in mind this is a boutique hotel and spaces and amenities are small and limited. I have no complains but on the other hand I was not blown away by anything either.

From arrival to departure, the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating to our needs. We enjoyed the full English breakfast and overall food experience. The hotel is centrally located to all main sites that made our booked excursions/tours convenient. The only downside to the hotel is that the rooms are a little snug. Otherwise my wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The best area to stay in Windsor is the town centre, particularly around the High Street and Peascod Street.
This central area is the hub of activity and convenience. You'll find yourself just a short walk from Windsor Castle, the town's most famous landmark, and the beautiful Long Walk. The streets here are bustling with a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants, making it easy to find everything you need on foot. It's also very well connected by rail, with two stations – Windsor & Eton Central and Windsor & Eton Riverside – providing direct links to London.
Couples looking for a romantic and convenient getaway will find the town centre perfect. You can enjoy strolls around the castle grounds, explore the quaint streets, and have a wide choice of dining options right on your doorstep. The proximity to the River Thames also allows for lovely riverside walks or boat trips.
Families visiting Windsor will also appreciate the town centre's practicality. Being so close to the castle means less travel time with little ones, and there are often street performers and family-friendly eateries to keep everyone entertained.
