Very nice, comfortable room, nice to have the kitchen. Lots of space outside to eat and relax! The kids loved the animals and that it’s clise to Legoland! The restaurant near by was really nice too and also easy to get around without a car.

Everything was as expected, though there was some un repaired damage and the towel warmer was heating the room up despite the apartment already being 30 degrees.

We didn't know when we booked how much character this place had and how old it was. Not only were the staff super helpful and friendly but the food we ate there both for dinner and for breakfast was delicious. The room we had was very spacious and the bed was really comfortable. An incredible little piece of history here!

The best area to stay in Windsor is the town centre, particularly around the High Street and Peascod Street.
This central area is the hub of activity and convenience. You'll find yourself just a short walk from Windsor Castle, the town's most famous landmark, and the beautiful Long Walk. The streets here are bustling with a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants, making it easy to find everything you need on foot. It's also very well connected by rail, with two stations – Windsor & Eton Central and Windsor & Eton Riverside – providing direct links to London.
Couples looking for a romantic and convenient getaway will find the town centre perfect. You can enjoy strolls around the castle grounds, explore the quaint streets, and have a wide choice of dining options right on your doorstep. The proximity to the River Thames also allows for lovely riverside walks or boat trips.
Families visiting Windsor will also appreciate the town centre's practicality. Being so close to the castle means less travel time with little ones, and there are often street performers and family-friendly eateries to keep everyone entertained.
