"Quite possibly the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. I'm on the road 26 weeks a year and in a hotel three days a week during those weeks. I stay in inexpensive places so I only review if something is really good or really bad. This is the latter. I stepped in the door of my room and was overpowered by the stench. It was awful. There was mold in the upper corners of the shower which I forgot to take pictures of. I will share a picture of the chair that was in the room. I don't know how this is even listed on Hotels.com. The place should be burned to the ground. On a scale of one to 100 the cleanliness of this place was a -4."

"Considering the age of motel, it was very clean. Continental breakfast…..choice of instant coffee, cold cereal, apples, toast, jelly & honey bun. Staff was very friendly…..😎"

"The dead bolt on the room did not work. Tried to inform staff of it when I left, but no one came to the front desk. Slept with the big chair blocking the door."

"Great for getting out in nature! Absolutely loved the decor and shower. Also really great for dogs; there was even a towel for dogs. Beautiful property, roughly 20 mins from downtown Bastrop/Bastrop State Park. Perfect for outdoorsy people (especially city-dwellers wanting some fresh air). Lots of dishes/cooking utensils, a coffee bar, fire pit, and plenty of seating as well!"

"Room was very clean but a little dated. Breakfast was okay for a Continental. One of the staff was taken care of the breakfast, He was very helpful . I didn’t care much for the coffee. It was not brewed. It was liquid flavored coffee with hot water mix. I bought coffee elsewhere. There was no one at the front desk most of the time with the front doors locked. They were out working elsewhere in the hotel. If you rang for them , they come immediately, I guess they were short on staff. I would stay here again."
