"The site is shared with Studio 6 and Motel 6. It looks like it is under construction. It sits far back from the Interstate and there is a lot of chainlink fence and empty space in front of the site. Parking is woefully inadequate and inconvenient. The only landscaping were 2 Palm Trees. While Motel 6 is known as a "value" brand when comparing others, staying here made me feel 'embarrassed & poor'."

"My friends and I take annual trip for our fantasy football draft, and this year brought us to Canyon Lake. We chose to stay at this place because it looked nice, had the right amount of rooms/beds, and was right on the river. Some times pictures can be deceiving, but that was not the case here. It exceeded our expectations and the location really made the logistics of floating the river a piece of cake."

"We enjoyed our stay. Any issues with the house were addressed quickly. Upstairs had the queen bed shared a bathroom with the room with a king and twin beds. Downstairs, the trundle twin shared a bathroom with the other king bed. Then the bunk room on the lower level shared one bathroom. The pool is a hot tub, but they were able to turn off the heater for our hot summer stay. The stairs down to the river are steep. We had to walk through a bit of mud to get to the river. "
"This property is amazing. The house is beautiful and spacious. We stayed 6 nights with a large family group and never felt overcrowded. I have rented several homes in the area over the past 25 years, I can say without hesitation this house is the best one yet. Perfect location for floating the river or just sitting in the water people watching. The host was very friendly and accommodating. They definitely know how to take care of their guests. The pictures of this house although impressive, do not do it justice. We are already planning our next stay. I cannot thank Jack enough for sharing this property with us and Shannon for taking care of all of our needs during our stay."
