"We had a great stay and everything was as described. Since it was a ski weekend we did not make use of the outdoor features other than to walk the dog. Nice sunrise over the lake in the morning!"

"Great Layout. Bedroom is pretty squished with the full bed taking most of the floor space. Water pump is quite loud when in the bedroom. But there is lots of other space. Comfy bed. Comfy seating. Everything you need in kitchen. Place was quite clean. Perfect for a couple. "

"Convenient location with basic but clean and comfortable rooms at an affordable price. Plenty of on-site parking and only 4 miles from Jay Peak. Staff is friendly and accomodating. Nice restaurant/bar on the first floor with a decent menu and large portions. Only minor downside is the reataurant/bar stops serving at 9pm even on weekends. Would be better if they served until at least 10."

"Rooms are clean and rustic, common areas are great for larger groups to socialize. Shared bathrooms were clean and we had the wing to ourselves so our party had more than enough amenities. Fridge, microwave, sink, coffee supplies in shared kitchen. Recommend bringing in bottled water. Attached Bistro was wonderful - great food / bar / staff. A really great rural VT experience! "

"Clean, welcoming, and with the scent of new cedar- this place was amazing. Tucked just off Rt. 100 about halfway between Stowe and Jay Peak, with a great general store close by and yet quiet and rural. It’s a steal at the price. The shower was awesome, the bed very comfortable, and the host very accommodating. She got the place ready for me on short notice! I will definitely be back! "

"Jay Peak is one of our favorite places. We have been going for 10 years. The snow is great, the food is delicious and there are friendly people. But the service seems to be getting a little less friendly and the cost is going up. The ski school has policies that aren’t parent friendly and may have safety implications. There are more and more hidden costs, and the staff seemed annoyed when we needed some fresh towels. It’s not convenient to get small kids to lessons in the morning. It also seems that if prices are around $700 a night there could be better valet service. Killington unpacks your car and brings it to your room and parks the car!!! "
