"Wonderful place to stay in the area. We are very familiar with the area, as we lived 20 minutes away for over 25 years. If you are looking for an upscale hotel experience, try Stoweflake Resort. If you want a more rustic stay, this is the place. The cabins are not too cramped (as others tend to be), with a full size tub and full kitchen, and space to breathe in both the bedroom and living room areas. "Although the weather did not really cooperate (rained for the first 2 days), we still found the home cozy, peaceful and and the area serene. A beautiful location right on the lake. We go once a year with our four wheelers to northern Vermont and this was a great riding area. Lots of trails with stops along the way (Parker Pies, Bakersfield, Morgan Store). Jim and his wife were there when we arrived. Very nice people. Would recommend to hikers, ATV'ers, and just folks who want to get away. PS....
