Easy parking, the staff were very helpful and even gave me a room upgrade. The only thing that would have made the room better would have been a little fridge. But apart from that the room and facilities were great.

Room was overpriced for a concert, £400 per night when £220 normally. I’d expect an uplift but not this much.
Room was worn, fan and windows dusty and unclean. Other room had no hot water in shower so unable to use.
Noisy and limited sleep although bed comfortable
No bar as closed.
WiFi non existent and no 5G signal so if you want a quiet night and no shower then ideal place.

The hotel is in a great location for Cardiff Bay. Unfortunately, I stayed on the hottest days of the year. The room I was allocated on the ground floor did not have any windows that opened, and there seemed to be an aircon/heating unit that wasn’t working; fans were already in the room but didn’t help with the blistering heat and lack of ventilation.
There was a portable heater in the room, so I assume there may be an opposite situation in the winter. The staff were really friendly and helpful, as much as they could considering the circumstances.

Our room was big and clean but bizarrely the plugs in the main room didn't work if you turned the light off?? We did not mension this to the staff ..."
