Hotel Z surpassed our expectations! The bed was so comfy, the location is perfect, and the hospitality was incredible- they offered us drinks of our choice upon arrival, and they even gave us bikes to use.

When I booked I picked the premium queen suite. What was shown was NOT what we got. We couldn’t even watch the tv because it was on the wall beside the bed. While I understand you don’t always get what you see I expected to at least have a usable room. The ac did not keep up, even having it set at 64 degrees it said it was 73. The windows are sealed shut so you can’t even get a breeze going to help cool it down. The shower is tiny, and we had a sewage smell coming from both it and the sink. Overall I was very disappointed in what we received versus what room we got considering I “upgraded” to the premium.

The pool is small and we were shutout from most of the pool/bar area for a few days because of a convention in town but the hotel is clean and the staff are great. It's in an area with fantastic dining options and right next to Petco Park and the Convention Center. I would definitely go back again.

The room is incredible very clean, spacious and nice Staff were very nice and helpful kids enjoy themselves, and we plan on going back again next year

Things we liked: close to beach, staff was awesome, nice amenities, great location, garage felt safe, hotel was very clean. Things that could be improved: bed was very hard and uncomfortable, no microwave, breakfast needs improvement- eggs, sausage, and bacon could be higher quality.
