"Older property, but a clean room, mattress needs to be replaced. Friendly staff; was told to keep the AC at 74 or warmer due to old, poorly functioning equipment that could fail, and we would lose AC in the room. The gift shop & Market are small and overpriced, so make sure to bring what you need. The on-site restaurant & saloon is closed but still listed as an amenity."

"Its a very nice and basic place to stay. Its on par with the rest of the hotels in the Julian area. Nothing fancy but it works great for coming back to recharge and get rest for the activities for the next day. The staff was very nice and helpful. Easy check in and check out process.
