"Amazing stay."

"I stayed at Hilton Financial District in San Francisco with my family of four. We arrived around midday, and I do appreciate that the staff accommodated an early check-in by 1:30 PM, which was helpful after travel. However, I was quite surprised and disappointed to learn that our booking (made through Expedia) did not guarantee rooms on the same floor. As we were traveling with children, this was an important consideration for us. At check-in, we were informed that if we wanted rooms on the same floor, we would need to pay an additional fee. This put us in a difficult position, and we felt compelled to pay extra to ensure our family could stay close together. It was frustrating, as this was not clearly communicated during the booking process, and it reduced the value of booking through Expedia. Overall, while the staff were courteous, I would strongly recommend that families confirm room arrangements in advance and that the hotel (or booking platforms) be more transparent about such policies."

"It was a nice basic, hotel. As long as you just need a cheaper place to say this fits the bill. It was easy to get around, in a safe area and close to areas of interest. The room was spacious and the maid service good. I didn't like that there were no curtains and the sunlight came in through the blinds very early waking me up when I would have like to have slept longer. I couldn't get the shower to work and the water was barely tepid so even if I had it would have been an unpleasant experience. I wouldn't write it off my list of a place to stay in SF, but I would look for another hotel first before deciding to stay there."

"We usually stay downtown when we visit SF in large 3.5-4 star hotels so I wasn't sure if I'd feel safe here with just me and my young son, but we were going to an event at the Palace of Fine Arts and it was walking distance so took a chance. Adorable place, felt like I was living in a mini city apartment in a great neighborhood for the weekend. The kitchenette was more than I expected, was actually a full little kitchen with a little corner table. A door separated it from the sleeping area so could get up early and have coffee in a sunny kitchen. The "bedroom" barely fit the 2 full beds in it but it was comfortable. Everything was clean. Convenient shopping and restaurants a block up. Be aware you need to go up a full flight of stairs to get to any room. Wasn't an issue for us but it wasn't really clear when we booked it so could surprise someone that needed more accessible access. Staff is super nice, although don't expect them to be super in the know about the area/SF-I mentioned Bay to Breakers and the girl at the front had no idea what I was talking about lol. Marina is a great neighborhood to explore though. Perfect place if you're looking for a local SF vibe."

"Rooms were clean, but they sprayed air freshener in each rooms and made it super strong, had to open the door and windows to air it out. Our room had rusted microwave and no one came to replace it, told the attendant on duty and house cleaner, seems no one cares. Great walking distance to amenities, at least 24 parking spots at the motel."

"Great stay in a fantastic location! The room was very spacious, and having parking so close to Lombard Street was a big plus. There were plenty of dining options nearby, making it easy to find something good to eat at any time. Overall, it’s a great place to stay if you’re looking to explore San Francisco. Would definitely recommend!"
