"Upon checking into my assigned room, I discovered blood stains on the bedding. Concerned about the condition of the room, I removed the sheets and found additional blood stains on the pillows. I was shocked that a room in this condition had been cleaned, inspected, and placed into service for a guest. I immediately documented the condition of the room with photographs and reported the issue to the front desk. Although I was eventually moved to a different room, the fact remains that I was initially assigned a room containing blood-stained bedding and pillows. This created serious concerns regarding the property's housekeeping standards, room inspection procedures, and commitment to guest safety and cleanliness. I attempted to speak with the General Manager on the evening of the incident but was informed that he was unavailable. I attempted again the following day and was initially unable to reach him. When I eventually spoke with the General Manager the following morning, I requested that the first night's stay be refunded due to the unacceptable condition of the room. He declined and instead offered 15,000 Wyndham Rewards points. What concerned me most, however, was the manner in which the complaint was handled. During our discussion, I advised him that I intended to report the matter to Wyndham Corporate and, if necessary, to Expedia. He responded that doing so would not solve anything, that the hotel would continue operating, and that the matter would eventually disapp"

"I didn’t eat breakfast there, and the A/C worked fine. Since we were notified that the carpets were damp, I assume they had recently been cleaned, the room had a strong unpleasant humidity smell. There was gum stuck to a picture frame above the bed, and there were stains on the bathroom ceiling. They do have a washer and dryer; however, they don’t provide quarters or have a place to get change, so I ended up driving to the nearest laundromat. The motel is surrounded by parked semi-trucks. Overall, you get what you pay for."
