The one thing we didn't realize when we moved in was that it had only one bathroom, but that was our fault for not checking the listing more closely when we originally booked. It really is a lovely spot, and close to some of our favourite farm stands, plus the Salt Spring Cheese Factory. "

"I feel like hotels should have to disclose when sports teams are booked to stay. There was a children's hockey team in the hotel and the place was overrun with kids, while the parents drank beside the pool or outside. It was loud and went well past the noise time limits. We barely slept. There was only one staff person and so she was overwhelmed. you can't blame kids for being kids, but the parents were totally ignorant and useless."
