Walking distance from monuments like Heroes Circle and the oldest Turkish bath in town. We were there for Formula 1 and the drive to Hungaroring was 20 minutes (without traffic)! "Our room at The Monastery was spacious and clean. We appreciated the high ceilings and comfortable bed and amenities (fridge, coffee maker). The staff was helpful and the restaurant onsite (Umo) was delicious. The only areas for improvement would be higher quality towels and linens and another coffee maker in the breakfast room (it was slow and there was a wait to use)."

Do not discount the castle view, which has its own merits and magnificence. The staff went above and beyond in my case but were fun in the process.
