"What a charming cabin and wonderful host! Debi has thought of everything her guests could need (even had new toothbrushes and toothpaste in case we were without) and added wonderful touches - like a variety of snacks in the kitchen, lots of information about local things to do, candles in the rooms, etc. This is a perfect location for anyone interested in visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park. Definitely recommend and would stay again."

"Home was very clean with minimal clutter. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of room to spread out and store our things. Area was quiet. We did experience a PG&E power outage, which was not the owners fault. I’d recommend having a propane camping stove for cooking food and more wood for the wood stove in the event of a future power outage. There was a battery pack to keep fridge running for a short period."
Rustic Cabin Near Lassen w Hot Tub Fire Pit & Games

"The cabin exceeded my expectations. We are three single friends, who stayed there for four nights in Fall 2026 so that we could enjoy all the hiking opportunities in Lassen National Park. The weather was perfect. The hiking was amazing — Bumpass Hell Trail, Cinder Cone Trail, and Lassen Peak plus Burney Falls, the latter of which is technically outside the park and a bit of a drive beyond it. The cabin is cozy and intimate. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was generously stocked with cookware. The hot tub was amazing to have at the end of a long day of hiking. We didn’t use the fire pit itself, but we still sat outdoors around the covered pit for one of our meals. I like that the kitchen is open to the seating area so you can still carry on a conversation, there’s even a bar counter in front of the stove so you can keep talking; the ones cooking don’t feel like their exiled into the kitchen and opt part of the fun. It was easy to find and just off the main road. It was overall a really lovely stay. So relaxing and easy."
Spacious Classic Cabin Retreat- near Lassen

"Very nice property, just as listed, owner communicated very well. Kitchen and bathrooms well accommodated. We did not have to use the heating system, but it appears fairly new and maintained.We greatly enjoyed the outdoor fire pit at night with comfortable outdoor chairs. We brought plenty of firewood and sat outside for hours under the stars.Surprised by the number of other homes in close proximity but none seemed occupied during our stay. Certainly a vacation home neighborhood.I would consider returning in the winter with plenty of snow. The house would be cozy and warm, snow play at your doorstep and the board game, and puzzle selection is unmatched."

"This property was perfect for our visit to Lassen Volcanic Park area. I give an overall 5 stars. Although it was great to unplug (no Wi-Fi), the cell signal was very weak and having Wi-Fi might allow guests to check in with loved ones easier. Otherwise it was excellent"
