Best to get google maps to bring you to Krousonas town center and then put in the property address. Google maps in Crete will have you go down goat paths and should not be trusted. The location was perfect for us, conveniently close to both the airport and the port, with plenty of excellent restaurants and bakeries within walking distance. GD Gallery Suites was easily accessible, and in a safe and quiet neighborhood. We liked the fact that we had private parking.

Lovely property with comfortable and functional rooms.

The staff on all levels were incredible. The food at 5th was amazing and breakfast was a dream. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Area is a little dirty but no reflection on the hotel itself as is the case for the whole city centre. Close to shops and the port, stunning views of the fortress and port! Will definitely be staying here if/when we return.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Aphrodites apartment. Uniqueness and quiet serenity of this traditional Cretan house in the mountains would be hard to match. We would be happy to return.

Great place to stay, friendly staff and management. Unfortunately had an issue with my ferry and missed a night of my stay but management was very helpful in trying to accommodate me. My only issue is that then hot water sometimes ran out in the shower and tap but the staff told me they were currently working on this issue which is reassuring. Great central location right near the centre of Heraklion

Nice and spacious place to stay before our flight out the next morning

Our visit was brief at only two nights, but in that time we enjoyed the room and excellent view from room number 1 windows and balcony. The staff in the restaurant were wonderful, even putting together a dish not on the menu (a large fruit salad for two, with Greek yogurt). The restaurant doesn’t open until 9 a.m. so if you have an early start, talk to the staff the day before so they can box something up - we messed up and didn’t do this!
