The hosts were friendly and attentive in getting us settled. Easy access in and out, but we had to walk through their house to our room. Very very clean and quiet. Located in an upscale, well maintained neighborhood of spacious homes. It says breakfast but there was no breakfast. The room has no heating, it is a bit dark downstairs, and it does not get much sunlight so it does not heat up. We were very cold during our stay. Then we asked for a heater, but it was too small and didn't help much. The smell of food in the house is a bit strong. The bed is high like a water bed and causes back pain after a while. The area is beautiful. Parking is convenient. The house is lively because there are 5 international students. The helper comes in the morning for the kitchen for the international students, it's a bit noisy in the morning. It's a safe place. Although we initially planned to stay downtown to be closer to our daughter's condo, we ended up choosing a place in the suburbs for easier parking and more convenient travel. Rose Garden turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The house is about 12-15 minutes from Vancouver, so getting around was never an issue. The owners even arranged a free parking spot for us right beside the house, which was a nice touch. The house itself was very clean and peaceful, thanks to a dedicated housekeeper who took care of everything. The landlord was very professional but, at the same time, incredibly friendly. She was always happy to help with anything we needed. The Wi-Fi was reliable throughout our stay. I managed to join several online meetings during the week without a hitch. Our room was comfortable, with an en-suite bathroom, a walk-in closet, and a mini fridge. We also had access to a large shared kitchen, which came in handy more than once.
