« It’s a really beautiful place! We loved our time there and will most definitely come back. Cynthia was really great to work with, helped with all our questions beforehand, while we were there and so quick replying when we had questions. The water was amazing. Deep, so just plan for that if you have little kids. All of our crew LOVED it!! We got to relax so much and enjoy the clean beautiful water without any crowds. »

« Everything was great. However there is no TV so be prepared to spend that day outside or bring board games. Not much to do at night. We were gone during the day everyday but would have been nice to watch at night. Also if you plan on cooking they have everything but seasoning youll want to bring that with you. Id suggest brining food as closest HEB or groc store is 1hr 15min away. They have a nice waterhole to check out outdoor games for kids. We went end of June and was hot but had nice breeze...

« We liked the cabin; it was cozy and comfortable. The first 2 nights, we were the only ones in the property, so, it was truly an away-from-it-all vacation. Our pups loved it too and was super thrilled to see deer in the yard in the morning. The river was dried up (in November), but, the trees had turned colors, so, it was nice. This location is perfect if you want to visit Garner State Park and Lost Maples. »
