"It was close to the airport, close to restaurants and was clean"
"I booked this lovely villa for a week long family reunion with my two siblings, their spouses, and our collective families. The villa has six very spacious bedrooms, with luxurious bathrooms for each room. The beds are mostly king beds, big enough for two teenagers to share; and there are also several very large and comfortable couches where the kids sometimes wanted to sleep. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the sheets, comforters and pillows very high quality. Unlike other rentals I’ve stayed at, this home provides ample bath towels, had lovely bathroom soaps/shampoos, and also an ample supply of pool towels There was a great laundry room. We cooked for 12 people every night, and the kitchen was more than adequate to the task. Good knives, nice plates, plenty of cups. There is a whole separate kitchen in the back house, which was handy for storing food and extra cold drinks. The pool was awesome. There is an extra charge to heat it, but that was worth it. The pool and the hot tub always worked, with an easy to use phone app to turn the hot tub on and off. Of the several homes we have rented over the years, this was the best running and most fuctnional pool we’ve used. The house manager was super responsive, so when we did have questions about the pool, or about other odds and ends about the house, they were always available. There is a gorgeous bluff walk a few hundred feet from the house, and the beach access is also quite close. The beach is gorgeous. "

"Just the perfect, fun, easy location to visit a kid in grad school at UCSB. The music in the bar on Saturday was wonderful ... to sit by the fireplace and pool outside, look at the stars and enjoy the night with music was wonderful. It is a remodeled motel but done very well. Great location. Slept well on a comfy bed. Shower had GOOD water pressure ... a rarity in California. Bar is great. Restaurant is great. Take a deep breath and love the vide at this funky little place. Will definitely stay again ... until she graduates :)"
