« Beautiful historic home that’s super cozy and inviting. The updates they’ve done provide modern amenities yet you feel like you could be back in time with the stone fireplace and log cabin walls. The soak tub in the master bedroom with views of the woods was one of my favorite parts. Highly recommend this place! »

« This property was the perfect mountain getaway. About an hours drive from Bristol and Asheville made for easy day trips. The property is absolutely beautiful and we saw a lot of wildlife! All of the furniture was updated and very comfortable and we loved the hot tub and fire pit. We will hopefully be coming back in the future! »

« We really enjoyed our stay at the Johnson farmhouse. My daughter’s had a softball tournament in Johnson City and the location was perfect. We also went to historical sites and waterfalls. Overall, the experience was great. Would do it again if we go back. »

« It was like going back in time but with modern conveniences. We had the best time at this 200 plus year old house. Loved the wrap around porch for relaxing evenings. The hot tub was a huge hit. Relaxation for all to enjoy. Highly recommend this beautiful house. »

« This is the third time our church has rented the property in some capacity from Joe and it is always a joy being there. Joe is the ideal host, readily available, quick to respond, and extending warmth and welcome. We always recommend going to his food truck on the property too--delicious BBQ! Cannot recommend Joe as a host or this property highly enough. Truly a joy to stay there every time! »

« The place was perfect with a great host. I was a relaxing view and peaceful place to take a break and visit with friends who lost everything in Helene last year. Greenville is a Historic town as is the State of Franklin area. This was the perfect place for us and had everything you would need for a weeks stay. We hope to be back again. »

Everyone enjoyed the farm tour and smores party, seeing and meeting all the animals, watching the piglets, holding baby chicks etc. There is so much room outside to explore and play. « We (2 seniors and 3 girls - 5 to 11) had the BEST week at the Farm Barn. We were enchanted with the baby pigs and goats, the swing was a huge hit and Farmer Steve was patient and allowed the girls to help him. We will never forget our week. Thank you. « Whoa! Cannot begin to explain the beauty of this newly renovated farmhouse. I stay in a lot of vacation rentals throughout the year and this, by far, is at the top of my list. The host did such a great job with updating the farmhouse, with still leaving its 1915s charm. The houses' decor is a boho whimsical dream! The rental is very well supplied: iron, blow dryer, laundry machines, shampoo/conditioner, espresso machine&&pods :), cleaning supplies, and my favorite part tons and tons of comfy...
