"We had a wonderful experience for our honeymoon and birthday. The hotel was clean and all the staff were very welcoming and kind. We got complimentary drinks and chocolates to celebrate, which was the perfect touch. The room service was quick and everything was delicious. The noise level was not bad either. Only really heard people outside on the weekend when the bars were more busy which makes sense. Even then, it still was quite considering Edinburgh is a bustling city and the sun didn't go down until 8/9pm. Would stay again! Also, the location is perfect to walk to just about anywhere you'd want to go."

"Loved our room. It was one of the bigger rooms with a King Size Bed. We were on the 3rd floor and had a view of the ocean ( well there was scaffolding somewhat in the way) "

"The guest house is just over a mile from the city centre and I guess you get what you pay for, so on that basis you’re really can’t complain. However, some of the shared facilities could’ve been cleaner and I guess the place hasn’t been decorated this century if you want a cheap place not far from the city centre this is okay but don’t expect anything special. The one good saving grace of this place is that is just around the corner from the Causeway whether there are great pubs and it’s a lot less touristy than right in the city centre."
