Twin Lakes Vacation Packages

This advertised picture is definitely NOT this hotel!!! This is a small 3 story building with NO ELEVATOR!!! The first floor rooms (which we had to stay in because my husband can not use the stairs) are old and musty smelling. ugh. Tiny bathroom. Air that makes a lot of noise. And it was advertised that there is a FULL breakfast. ONLY if you go across the lot to Denny's, which they give you a seven dollar coupon for but you still have to wait to order, pay the rest and tip!! There was NOTHING in the morning at the hotel but ?coffee and juice? Not even sure that was working. And I had to ask several times for a hair dryer which is not supplied in the rooms. My granddaughter enjoyed the pool. We only stayed one night and glad of that. We WON'T be going back there!!! And just a note - this building used to be the pool and overflow for the building next door which is now a super 8 I think. We stopped using that years ago because it was awful. Should have known better than to stay here. You get what you pay for.

Strong bad odor in the room. No towels, no shampoo in bathroom, I called 3 times for asking bathroom stuff but they never come to the room

We stayed here during our travels on two different occasions. The 1st day we stayed was good. Rooms were clean. We did chose this place due to no pets allowed. They had most of the amenities, except for an iron and ironing board, which is a little odd to me when traveling to a hotel. No swim pool which is also fine with us. Having a swim pool is not a deciding factor for us. The only thing that was also different was there was no sink in the bathroom, it was out in the main room. Not necessarily convenient. The 2nd stay which was a week later, we checked in after 6pm. When we settled in for the night we found the sink was clogged and was draining extremely slow. When called the desk they sent someone up to put something down the drain to clear it out. It did not work and there was an odor from it, due to the maintenance had left for the day/evening. When we called back to let them know it did not work, they did provide us with a different room, except they had no code to the room. If we left for whatever reason, someone would have to stay in the room to let us back in. We were in for the night and that was not an issue. Overall good and they did the best they could for our circumstances.
