"The hotel is in a good and central location. The room was very clean but a bit small and cramped. The Japanese style futons were comfortable, annd the room was very quiet. The onsen was super nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Small points to consider: 1\. Restaurant has no western style breakfast. 2\. Lobby is basically a hallway with no comfortable place to sit, have a drink, etc. "

The bed was okay, but probably the least comfortable on my trip so far. I have a bad back and I found myself tossing and turning a lot overnight. "Good location, close to local amenities including shops/eateries and most major attractions. The main train station is approximately a 15min walk away which was convenient. The room was compact, but manageable for a couple of nights and was clean. Check in and out was quick and efficient and we were able to leave our luggage after checkout whilst we explored for the rest of the afternoon which was super helpful. Can't vouch for the breakfast as we didn't have this included, but free hot water and coffee were available in the lobby. The lobby however stunk of cigarettes as there was a smoking area nearby."
