The walkable distance to the station was great and check in worked fine at the other hotel, they held our bags as we were early. Never figured out the wifi but didn't ask either as we were so busy. I'm sure they would've helped us. Check in was a bit weird because you need to check in at Hotel Kanazawa and only then proceed to this place. I missed the email where they said that and ended up having to walk all the way back to the station to check in at this other place and then back. They explained that in Japan by law check-in needs to be done face-to-face and since there is no reception on this place, that’s why you’re unable to do it here.
