"My husband and I took a last minute little getaway from Valentine's day. To say this is the absolute most amazing place we've ever stayed is an understatement. We wish we could have stayed longer but it was so short notice we only stayed one night.We will absolutely be back. There is not a single thing I would change. Doug and Jen are the sweetest!!!! "Everything about Moutain Inn is perfect the rooms, the staff, pet friendly! It is so quiet and peaceful here, just the perfect place to come and have no worries at all! I highly recommend everyone who comes thru Flat Rock NC looking for the best place to stay, choose Mountain Inn You will not be disappointed!!!!"

"The townhouse was very clean and roomy. Basic kitchen equipment and dishes were provided. The place is dated, everything is brown and rather dull but totally functional and clean. Nice having 2 balconies. Upon arrival at the townhouse, I was disappointed to see it was located 3 flights of stairs below the parking lot. That’s a lot of steps to haul luggage, cooler, golf clubs etc especially for seniors. No where did I recall being advised of so many steps, would not have booked if I did. Resort did not offer another room so we were stuck. The pool was wonderful, the lake water was chocolate brown. Had to prepay $13/day to use the pool and lake (avoided lake b/c of dirty water). Legends restaurant was casual and great. Golf at both courses was also great."

"The place was nice and clean. We did have to wait a little bit for the staff to show up. Not sure why the staff was not there. We could not find a bell to ring. After the receptionist arrived we were checked in promptly. She was very kind. Overall we had a nice stay."

"What can I say? Perfect. Not a singular complaint. The hosts were amazing. The cabin was exceptional, with a private balcony, amazing tub, comfortable bed, high-quality bedding and furnishings. Our cabin had a kitchen with everything we would need. The property was exquisite and the saltwater pool and hottub were highlights. Firepit and grill station were clean and inviting. There was very little reason to leave the property (we did for great local food and sights). The hosts are very accommodating, friendly, and available. We are absolutely going back. 10/10. Go. This is the place you're looking for near Lake Lure."
