I think this might the best hotel in Dubai. I and my wife really enjoyed it.
The rooftop pool on 77 floor is amazing with great views. Its a highlight of the hotel. You cannot find better in Dubai.
The room was clean, great bed, modern and included flip-flops and beach bag - nice touch.
Breakfast was also great with many options. I wish the staff was better organized and served coffee faster during the breakfast. If they have modern coffee machines like in other hotels the guest could serve themselves. I don't like getting coffee after finishing breakfast.
The hotel staff was nice and accommodating.
What I was surprised about are the prices for food and beverages. Everything is extremely expensive. Its not related to the hotel but to whole Dubai. I would not choose Dubai gor holidays due to this fact anymore.

We would have loved to seen/received the VIP amenities promised but we didn't get any of the,. We arrived at the hotel early and were told there was no upgraded rooms and no such VIP amenities. The hotel was fantastic though and we enjoyed every min of being there. We will come again. Just rather we didn't have the VIP carrot dangled in front of us by Expedia - not the hotel.

Facilities are outstanding. Brilliant staff, I arrived at 11:30 and they checked me into my room early. The food is delicious and top brand spirits with lovely coffee. Cannot fault the food, nice choices. The pools are huge and love the swim up bar. WiFi was never a problem, even 100 metres away on the beach the signal was good.
There is nothing to do around the area but as it’s all inclusive why would you want to leave the resort. Saying that, there are always a fleet of taxis outside.
My only gripe is the sports bar, you’re not allowed alcohol in the bar!!! Plus, I class this as an international hotel and all they show on the 5 screens are local sports and old seria A Italian club games. During my stay there was the Grand Prix, cricket T20 World Cup, French tennis open, NBA finals, NHL finals and the Euro 2024. Such a shame as I know other Riu hotels accommodate guest requests for major sport.
Otherwise a lovely and relaxing stay.
