"Often you don't get to meet the host in person, however, this time we had that opportunity. This makes all the difference. They were very friendly and customer focused. Before we arrived, I had asked the host if there was firewood for the firepit and he said no. However, when we arrived, Roland went out of his way to purchase bundles for us. The pool was fantastic, very clean and huge and although there are two other rentals on the property, we had the pool all to ourselves. The great thing...

"We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfect for our two families during our baseball week at All Star Village. Just a 10-15 minute drive to the fields and felt like a home away from home. "If you need a middle class inexpensive place to stay local to stores, food, etc., then I highly recommend this location. As with many older hotels it does have a musty, smoke, pet smell throughout but it isn't awful, just noticable. The room was a non smoking room and it had no smell whatsoever. Rooms were outdated but clean, the was fine, enough lightning, decent enough shower, clean towels and bedding. AC worked well. It had a fridge and a microwave. Front desk was great. Location was safe and fairly lit. I wish the beds, linens, and pillows were more comfortable. I'm not a fan of half sized pillows. Walls and ceilings were paper thin. Other than that the stay was great!"
