"This was a lifetime experience. Total core memory. 32nd anniversary was the BEST! I thought it was fun to stay in a treehouse. This is so much more than a treehouse. The owner brings the magic! My husband and I will definitely be back. We ran all over seeing the sights but the real magic is at the Emerald Forest. I can't wait to put our memories to canvas prints for our wall. I was skeptical the outdoor shower would keep me warm but it did with the heater! Showering with the birds is not to be missed. Everything was exceptionally clean. The owner was friendly and communicated well. I found this place on Amazon Primes Little VRBO. The show doesn't cover the "surprise" the owner has for everyone who stays. All the feels folks. "

"The place was super outdated.. the hot tub had an orange muck around the waterline and it smelled like farts. And she doesn’t mention it’s a house with split rentals. There was someone else staying and playing the piano late night. Then the next morning someone’s scary dog was watching my kids from the window growling. That was unsettling. And the doors don’t lock in the garage area connected to my rental. Beginning of every scary movie. No thanks, never again. "

"We were very pleased with the accommodations for this unit. It looked just like the pictures and was very clean. We came to spend time with our son and family for Christmas, so we did not spend a lot of time in the unit, but when we were there is was comfortable. There was an issue with the outside door being affected by the rain, but that has probably been fixed. If we had one recommendation, we personally prefer a Keurig coffee machine versus a coffee maker, but what was provided worked just fine.We would certainly consider using this property again."

"Lovely spaces for family to spread out. Firepit very cozy. Wonderful to have dual kitchens. Cons: coffee maker not working, inadequate hot water, and downstairs bed a bit wobbly. This was our 2nd stay here, the pluses outweigh any minor inconveniences."

"The apartment was nice, and communication was good. The price is fair, and it's better than staying at a hotel. But there were a few small problems and one big problem. The gate latch into backyard sticks and is difficult to open. You have to scale several large steps down to apartment which is challenging with heavy luggage. The kitchen is not well stocked and lacks a toaster, the knives are dull, and one of the teflon pots is scratched badly. They didn't provide wash clothes for the bathroom, only bath towels and hand towels. There were no shampoos/conditioners, so be sure to bring your own. The bathroom fan switch knob is missing so the bathroom steams up bad which can't be good for mold long term. But the biggest thing was the bed - they didn't have a fitted sheet, only an old, stained loose top sheet draped on top of the mattress, and the mattress itself was filthy - full of hair and lint on a fabric mattress cover that looked to have never been washed. We found this out at 10:30 pm when we went to bed, and instead of contacting the owner that late we found another loose sheet and blankets we could put on top of the dirty mattress. Another annoyance was there is no thermostat in this apartment. If you want to change the temp, you have to email the host and she does it from upstairs. She responded promptly, but it was annoying to have to ask to change the temp, especially if you want it colder at night and warmer in the day."

"My family was going to a concert at Remlinger Farm and were looking for a place close to the show that wasn't a hotel. We had some initial difficulty with check in procedures because they weren't included in VRBO emails but once we got connected to the host everything went smoothly. I can't say enough positive things about the peaceful neighborhood. It was quiet at night and I enjoyed going for a run in the neighborhood in the morning.Some surprises: we were instructed by a sign on the wall that we couldn't flush toilet paper; there are no interior doors except on the room with the toilet so almost no privacy; my family found the beds pretty uncomfortable; the glade plug in deodorizer was pretty overwhelming so we needed to unplug it and open all the windows when we arrived, which was fine since the weather was nice.Overall it was a good place to crash after a concert for one night and had everything we needed but I wouldn't have wanted to stay longer because it felt a little too much like roughing it "
