We actually ended up staying at the sister hotel to the Inn on the Mile. As much as we chose it and wanted to stay there, the hotels.com booking was clear on our stipulations for the room, but that didn’t show on the reservation that way for the hotel. They could have just said, “too bad”. Instead they gave us a lovely upgraded room at the Scotsman Hotel. It was amazing! The breakfast was amazing and the cafe attached was also great. The neighborhood was amazing and made seeing all the things we wanted to see easy and accessible! Absolutely loved this hotel and the really helpful, attentive staff.

Parking is awful, we were lucky we got a space round the corner. It was a great location for our event at murrayfield but the sofa bed isnt an actual bed. Luckily we took our inflatable double bed but had to go to shop and get sheets and duvet cover for it. Fine for one night and a few hours sleep

"Good but not excellent. Noise level between rooms on the same floor was unacceptable. I could hear my next door neighbour. Staff was responsive and attended to all requests admirably. But hotel needs a lift in terms of renovation; the carpets were worn and in need to replacement."
