"The floors in the bathroom were dirty. The shower backed up and didn't drain correctly while in the shower and I had to rush the shower due to the water level getting to high and being afraid that the water would overflow the shower basin. That and I felt disgusted trying to get cleaned up and having to stand in water that was from someone else as the drain backed up.There was soap scum on the shower and in the corners, on the outside of the shower, had dirt and grime literally stuck to the floor. The bathroom door kept getting stuck. As well due to not being properly bracketed. The beds and sheets were clean though and were comfortable. I had to stand at the front desk and wait for help twice. You can't get your own ice like most hotels. You have to go to the front desk to get it. There are no phones in the rooms, instead they are located near the elevator at a school desk. The roof top bar/restaurant was closed when we got there. Parking is Valet only and it is charged to your total from your stay which was nice. The hotel is close to a Wendy's and a convenience store (get go) as well as other restaurants and bars a little further away but is still with in walking distance. You do have to pay extra for breakfast which you can add to your stay when making reservations. Ultimately, if you need a place to stay that is close to children's hospital, that is reasonably priced compared to other hotels, then they are a acceptable choice as there are no bugs of any kind."

"Nice clean convenient location. Parking required the valet due to the offsite parking. That wasn’t too much of a hassle because the valet was fairly quick and responsive. The front desk staff was nice. And the location was great walkable to a great coffee shop down by the McDonald’s. I would stay here again. "

"One side of the bed was pushed against a wall making it most uncomfortable and difficult to get in and out. One two nights the guests in the next room were very loud and obscene. We complained to The Maverick and they did not address the matter to our satisfaction. They replied saying they will refund us $100 but because we booked through Expedia you - Expedia - will need to process that refund. "

"There are definitely some pros and cons. The cons were: the entrance is in the back down a tiny little alley, there is a pit bull next door that will almost jump the fence for you, the steps going in are very dangerous. They are steep and there is no handrail. The shower is extremely small, you can’t even turn around. The pros were: it was clean and neat, although there was a pretty harsh dog smell, the bed was comfortable, and the temperature was perfect. The location was okay, it was about a 30 minute walk to our venue. We ended up taking an Uber back. We had an okay experience overall, but I probably wouldn’t stay here again. Just being honest. "

"We loved staying in this urban neighborhood close to the city and a short walk to Butler street in Lawerenceville with lots of food and stores/boutiques to explore. A bonus, on street city parking included with the rental and we never had trouble finding spots in front of or very near the home. We found the unit modest, clean and cozy.As we had a longer stay we loved access to washer and dryer. Owner was great regarding timely communication and answering any questions we had ahead of and during the stay. "
