9.2/10 Wonderful! (152 reviews)
Great location, hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful. It was easy to get to the attractions from the hotel and the area had a lot of shops and restaurants. Nice and quiet at night. We arrived very late and the gentleman at the front desk was so kind. He called a restaurant to see if they were still open and could accommodate us. Provided us with umbrellas because it was raining. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are visiting Istanbul.

8.6/10 Excellent! (789 reviews)
Room was very clean and comfortable. Location was excellent right amidst the historic Sultanahmet area and views from the restaurant were fantastic (although Hagia Sophia is rather obscured by construction work, this is not the hotel's fault). Breakfast was very good, Turkish style and so very filling!
One issue was that initially we were given a first floor room which I think the patio door had an issue that meant it couldn't close fully, so it was a bit noisy at night. In the morning we asked the reception staff if we could change to another room and they were happy to move us (including moving all our luggage for us) to the 4th floor which was much quieter. Overall a very good short stay in Istanbul.

"The cocktails were very expensive well over $200 for 5 drinks. The bartender was making us special old fashions but failed to tell us he was going to charge $50 a drink."
