Overall a very nice hotel, staff were very accommodating and polite, especially as we had people running late returning from Crufts, which delayed finishing Dinner and breakfast, a few small issues in the room, that were reported to reception, but nothing that detracted from the stay rooms were a little on the small side, but overall was a very lovely building

"Excellent for visiting the NEC"
The hotel is within just a few minutes walk from the NEC and whilst the view is of an industrial estate the location is ideal for events at the centre, I was able to leave just a few minutes before my event, having left my car at the hotel and walk easily to my hall. Although it would be useful to have a guide of how to get to each hall on a poster on the wall, if I hadn't asked another guest I wouldn't have realised you had to follow the blue line or go up in the lift to get to the walkway to all the halls. It is a very modern, clean and functional hotel. The breakfast was good and actually I was really impressed at there being gluten free toast - with separate toaster - gluten free cereal and soya milk. My only negative was the car park, I arrived very late at night, in the car park were quite a few loud drunk young men, which was a little intimidating as a lone female, late at night. The staff were friendly, fun whilst being professional and helpful.

"A good hotel close to Birmingham New St. station."
I have rated my overall stay as good. The room was very good and spacious, the hotel facilities good (although speed of wifi not great) and maintenance was to a good standard. BUT my stay was marred by being woken at 04.30am by the sounds of bins being emptied and large heavy objects being moved around. My room was at the back overlooking Stephenson Street. I recognise that to a certain extend the noise issue is outside of the hotel's control but it should be of a concern if guests are not getting a good night's sleep. Can you please speak to the relevant bodies and ask if they would show more consideration or consider better sound insulation on the windows.

"Great alternative to a hotel room; close to ICC"
I stayed for two nights and found the one-bedroom apartment to be roomy, comfortable and well-situated for my conference at the ICC. There's also a 24 hour Tesco not too far away so I could pick up everything I needed for meals. The bed was huge and mattress was fine. The kitchen was fairly well equipped and everything was in good working order. All the appliances were spotless. My only complaint is that there was a musty/moldy smell between the bedroom and bathroom, possibly coming from a locked cupboard that I suspect housed a wet mop or something. I appreciated the secure parking facility and even though checkout is at 11 am, my conference ended at 5 and there was no issue about leaving my car there until I was free to pick it up. The staff were very helpful and I would definitely stay here again.

"great hotel haven't stayed here since the 70's"
warm reception, large quiet room, still good after all these years, the only minus was the lifts weren't working so you had to wait quite a time for the staff lift

"Lovely hotel "
Fabulous hotel and very comfortable rooms but description incorrect for location. Its called Best Western Birmingham NEC. Which makes you think its at or near the NEC. Yes its only a 10 to 15 min drive but when youre going with a group of peoole that are all staying within the airport you don't want to have to pay 30 to meet up and get back home. Would stay there again but would have preferred location to be accurate

"Great stay. "
Lovely jubbly very close to shopping centres, good facilities, other than the current construction work going on outside the hotel was very peaceful and of a high standard. I would recommend this to friends especially with the included breakfast as they have a large range of choices and lovely waffles. Also the hotel provide toilettries and tea/ coffee/ hot chocolate. These are very nice and are much appreciated.

"Clean and presentable and close to city centre"
Functional if not luxurious - bed reasonably comfortable and decent bathroom facilities. Nice and quiet - good place to stay for a hotel within walking distance of the city centre
