"If I was to write a review of only the hotel property it was a great place to stay for a weekend getaway. The rooms were dorm style which was great for me and my wife being a smaller set of people. The smart room takes a bit to get used to, and the tv for us shut off without responding, but we were exploring the city so it didn’t matter to us. The only issue I have is the location. Parking is not provided and requires paid parking around the areas. Multiple open lots at 12-20 a night if an event is going on. They aren’t enclosed so we picked a garage 2 blocks away for 12 a day flat. The walk however, was not safe in the area. Numerous unhoused people wander the areas, you are 2 blocks north of skid row. Keep this in mind and prepare for that walk and you can enjoy the stay."

"Location was key for us. Hotel was nice and staff were great. Air condition was not working properly in the lobby, so it was a bit muggy. But overall good experience. Already booked for next HHN."
