I have stayed here several times. The rooms are clean and well-taken care of. This trip, there were two things that made me think of reconsidering my hotel choice:
a) I was on the ground floor, and there was lots of noise from upper floors that could be heard at all hours of the night.
b) Check out time is 11:00 a.m. At 10:25 a.m., the front desk called my room - "just wondering when you're checking out?". I did NOT appreciate this call at all, and I think it is inappropriate to be kicking your guests out the door, or making them feel pressured to get out, before it's even close to check out. When I went to the front desk, the receptionist was continuing to make these calls, and even commented that most guests don't appreciate getting that call and don't respond well. So, my question is, WHY ARE YOU CONTINUING TO MAKE THESE CALLS if your guests are not happy with them?
I will be choosing a different hotel next time I have to stay in Swift Current, due to the poor interactions with desk staff on the phone and in person.
