"The room is adequate but needs updating , it has microwave , refrigerator and a small coffee pot . The room was clean. They do need to go to Home Depot however and invest in some weather stripping to put along the doors ours and others had gaps on the sides and you could see outdoors . It is not across from the beach it’s about a quarter mile down the road to the nearest Beach access if walking if not it’s 3.50 hr to park at the public parking if you can get a spot . The Beach is over run with blue Cabanas and Beach chairs all down the whole Beach . The noise is crazy so if you are looking for a quiet place to vacation this is not it . I will never be back . As far as this hotel you get what you pay for !!"

"DO NOT STAY HERE I had a very disappointing and bad experience at Beachview Inn in Clearwater. The hotel is extremely old, dirty, and poorly maintained. The furniture and rooms are very outdated, and the bathroom did not even have proper AC ventilation. There were bugs flying around the room, on the bed, and throughout the entire room, which made the stay very uncomfortable and unsanitary. On top of that, the customer service was horrible. The staff were rude, unhappy, and very unwelcoming from the moment we arrived. The worst part was after checkout, when the hotel charged me $170 because someone supposedly complained about a dog barking. I have a service animal that stayed with me at all times. The hotel never contacted me, never showed me proof, and never gave me the opportunity to address the complaint before charging my card. I believe it is unfair and unacceptable to charge guests without evidence or communication. It also felt discriminatory because my dog is a service animal, not a pet. Just because the hotel does not allow pets does not mean they can treat guests with service animals unfairly. Overall, this was a terrible experience, and I would not recommend staying here."

"Firstly, this hotel is not on the beach yet it's a short block walk to it. The property sites (2) are very clean and well appointed. The room we had (#65) upstairs was very clean. The queen bed was very firm / hard making it difficult to sleep on. The ceiling fan only worked when the lights were on. The AC was cold and worked well. The bathroom and shower were large. The only downside was the noise fellow guests were making outside on the patio at midnight. Had to call the front desk to ask them to keep the noise down. Great location to walk to beach and local restaurants. We spent most of our time at the beach and Opal Sol hotel."
