Sunset Town Vacation Packages

We had a wonderful stay overall. The service was outstanding — staff went above and beyond at every turn. The room was great and the location couldn’t be beat, putting us close to everything we wanted to see and do. The one thing holding this back from a full 5 stars was the cleanliness of the room. It wasn’t up to the standard I’d expect given how well everything else was run. A bit more attention to housekeeping and this would easily be a perfect stay. Would still recommend to others and would consider staying again.

Staff is great, breakfast is ok but surprisingly enough the Thai resteraunt is no where close to tasting like authentic Thai food which is surprising since the founders of Dusit Thani hotels are Thai family and still own 49% of the shares. The Dusit Thani employee culture is excellent in other Dusit hotels but for whatever reason which I can’t understand they don’t seem to be able to teach the other hotel Thai Resteraunts the proper recipe.

We liked the hotel fine, unfortunately our neighbors decided to party late, my wife went next door to ask them to quiet down and they wanted to fight?? The staff was not very helpful in this situation. There is no bar at the hotel, the beach is terrible but you can get a golf cart ride to the store.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Location great for local cuisine. Language was a bit of a barrier being from Australia. Resort itself feels a little dated, not really like the photos online but was okay and serviceable. Pool was always clean but just not cold, same as the ocean…. Would I stay again ? Probably not, I believe it would be worth paying a bit more for a bit better.

I enjoyed my stay here. The property is very close to lots of restaurants and the beach.
