"Overall, I had a good stay at APA Hotel Higashi Shinjuku Kabukicho Tower. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, although they are definitely on the smaller side, which is fairly typical for Tokyo. One of my favorite amenities was the hot bath area, which was a great way to relax after a long day of exploring the city. The location is convenient and provides easy access to transportation and nearby attractions. One thing to be aware of is that the area around the hotel can attract some aggressive street solicitors. We encountered people claiming to be doctors or engineers trying to strike up conversations and lure visitors elsewhere, so just be cautious and politely decline if approached. Overall, the hotel offers good value, comfortable accommodations, and excellent bath facilities, and I would stay here again."

"The pajamas provided were children size and did not even fit my young slim daughter. I asked the lobby person for a bigger size and the man from the front desk said it was the only size they offer. Although the lobby person apologized it did not solved the problem that they did not have adult size pijamas. I was told that in Japan the hotels provide pijamas that’s why I did not pack one for my stay. I stayed at other hotels during my vacation and they were more adult size and night gown type. Luckily my daughter and I found something to wear."

"We had a twin room on the 6th floor. The room was very clean and had bottled water, a fridge, a desk with a chair, and twin beds. The bed was ok not firm not soft. The pillows are feather pillows so you can mould it to your liking. I slept very well. There is a closet room with hangers and a safe. They also have a trouser press - which I never know how to use. We ask for an iron - you have to go down to reception to retrieve it- It worked really well. I have left the bathroom to the end because it was impressive! The most amazing power shower. It had a small bath but I think it is a normal size for Japan. If you wanted a soak - it’s more than sufficient. The bathroom shower area is a wet room with a rain shower embedded in the ceiling, then you have a handheld shower that has amazing pressure. So they have catered for all your needs. They also have a very good shower crème and shampoo and conditioner. The amenities in the bathroom are toothpaste and toothbrush, hairbrush, and a few other bits. Downstairs in reception they have quite a few amenities. They have a kettle, cups and glasses. Bring your own tea bags and coffee etc… there might be some stuff in reception- I’m not sure. PJ’s and slippers are provided."
