Riverbright Treehouse features: Heated Mattress Pad - Queen Size Bed Outdoor Cookshack Station Indoor Efficiency Kitchen Enjoy Sounds of Nature from the Bed or Deck Outdoor Firepit Hike into National Forest from Treehouse More… What Riverbright Glamping Includes Specifically: Private Treehouse Private Bathroom - short grass walk from the treehouse Private access to the river with the National Forest across the way. Located 40 min from these mountain cities: Blue Ridge and Dahlonega A comfy queen bed with a k-cup machine nearby. Heated Mattress Pad The treehouse also features an outdoor kitchen so you can cook your favorite camp style meals while still enjoying the seclusion of the forest. In addition to the kitchen, the firepit has a grate on it, allowing you to use charcoal or wood to grill. We do not provide utensils, pots, and pans, or a hot plate/burner; those are things you will want to bring if you need them! About Glamping Glamping - Going camping, but with glamour. A combination of the two words. It's like regular camping , but with nicer things than usual, being warmer, and more comfortable. Glamping isn't done by usual outdoor types who climb mountains. You should probably avoid treehouses if you… 1\. Don’t enjoy temps outside the normal range of your home. 2\. Don’t like walking back into the woods to enjoy your treehouse. 3\. Don’t want to walk to your private locked bathroom a short walk away. 4\. Don’t like the idea that creatures sometimes sneak inside the treehouse, as it is not completely sealed. If you enjoy the woods, nature, being away from city noise then you may just enjoy a stay in Riverbright. There is not running water in the treehouse. We do not provide drinking water. Because professional linen services are not available locally, we personally handle all laundering in-house. Each guest is provided with two freshly cleaned towels. If you find you need extras, you’ll find a set of “seconds” under the bathroom counter. These are clean towels that have been dyed and repurposed to extend their life. While they may show mild wear or faint imperfections, they are freshly washed and perfectly suitable for use. The property is right on the riverbank, and close to an access spot to walk down and wade in the river itself. (I recommend Tevas style sandals for this.) There is no cell signal, so no distractions from the beauty of the location. The outdoor kitchen is perfect for making simple camp meals, and the fire pit is a relaxing spot to sit and enjoy. It's private without feeling too remote or creepy. My suggestions are to bring a lantern or candle to use inside the cabin at night, since the lighting is sparse, and be very careful on the stairs. They are a bit uneven and very slippery after rain. ##### Emily H. Know what you're getting into: you're essentially camping but with a bed, bathroom (detached), and wifi. But as long as you're into that, you'll love it! It's tucked in the woods, right along a creek. The water sounds are so relaxing. The mountain roads all around are gorgeous. Genuinely cannot wait to go back!My only two complaints: the tub jets didn't work (but I still had a relaxing bath) and unless I was being very dumb there was no way to lock the cabin when you left for the day. There was a chain on the inside to lock it when you're sleeping but I did feel weird about leaving my stuff all in there unattended when I was out. We were looking for a night of camping with benefits and this was the perfect spot. It is rural with no ATT service, but the WiFi works. The bathroom is a short walk from the tree house attached to the main house in front of it. It is literallly on the river with a fire ring and outdoor kitchen between the treehouse and river. Basic utensils are provided. Bring charcoal if you wish to grill. There are fishing poles there as well should you want to fish. It is about a 45 minute drive to either Dahlonega or Blue Ridge, so stop on your way in for the things you might need. Beautiful view, quiet, peaceful location. Jetted Tub did not Jet, no lights for the stairs from the treehouse. We heard what sounded like a mouse the 1st night. I located a nest under the floor of the treehouse & message the host about it. Was told they couldn’t come out & set a trap because they had to use the exterminator which wasn’t scheduled to come out for 2 more days.
