We cooked every meal and made a fire in the fire pit. The best part is that the cabin is steps to the Appalachian trail. Amazing hiking any direction ypu decide to go. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, utensils and pizza / cookie sheets. The coffee pot uses regular grounds or k cups. There are a couple bullfrogs in the pond that sang us to sleep. Lol In just a short hike from the cabin you’re on the Appalachian Trail! 😁 My only complaint is the hot water. The tank isn’t large enough and half way through a shower it’s completely cold. Also there is no hot water at all in upstairs sink. ##### Tracy R. We booked this property 3 months in advance, eagerly awaiting the day of our vacation. The drive was treacherous through Atlanta, but it always is. Upon arrival to the cabin we found a very clean and organized home. Everything we needed other than food was there and available for use. We had Wi-Fi, television, books and games to entertain us. We loved the location and the privacy. We made day trips to neighboring towns such as Blairsville, Blue ridge, and Helen. We had a great time at each location and enjoyed the great weather. Back at the cabin every night we were able to grill, or cook our own dinners without any difficulty. The loft upstairs was roomy and a favorite of the kids looking to get away from the adults. The living room had comfortable sofas and chairs enough for all of us. Every appliance that we needed was available. All in all a great trip. ##### Les C. Clean and has everything you would need to accommodate you on vacation. I would love to have a King bed in the upstairs loft area. But the Queen bed was OK. The floors are very clean and I love all the wood in the cabin. It’s very nicely decorated. We were able to have a fire outside in the fire ring and we enjoyed that. The drive to Dahlonega or Blue Ridge is about 45 minutes. But usually you only do that there for the day and back home that evening. It’s quite, but there are houses around you on the loop. We have stayed here twice. I recommend it. The kids loved it as well. We had 4 adults and 4 kids. The drive way is steep and two vehicles fit in without a problem. ##### Sarah T.
