"We enjoyed our stay at this property for Father’s Day Weekend. Quiet neighborhood close to the Verde river and you can hear the river from the porch. We had some concerns about spiders and A/C not cooling down the house, from other reviews but we didn’t have any issues. The walking trails to the river are close with great views and it’s very close to Waterwheel hiking trail which is stunning. We highly recommend!"

"Everything about this cabin was great - it was a great location, was very clean and organized, beds and bedding were very comfortable in all rooms (this is very uncommon), and there was something for everyone. We spent a ton of time around the fire, played in the spacious upstairs loft (ping pong and foosball), basement with pool table, and the beautiful back deck was our favorite spot for the provided chess/checkers board. "There were elk, bulls, cows, woodpeckers, lizards.. there is a creek within walking distance and a few more creeks with in a few miles. The cabin it self is extraordinary, me and my family always love coming here. They did a lot of upgrading on the place and it’s even more amazing. I recommend this cabin to everyone looking for a vacation spot. The owners are so nice and always easy to get ahold of. We will be back.."

Bed in the primary bedroom was comfortable, and there were so many pillows-it was by far the best sleep I’ve gotten at any place we ever stayed at. The desk space in the primary bedroom was perfect for my husband who had to work during our stay. I also loved that the sectional in the living room had plenty of space for all of us to sit together. "The Pine Cone Cabin was exactly as listed…..and more. We have stayed at a number of VRBO properties and have never had a location that was so thoughtfully planned and stocked with everything that would make our stay more enjoyable and relaxing. Marc and Debbie were very responsive and communicative. The property is very close to all businesses and restaurants in the Pine area.
