5/5 Excellent
"Updated old property, great staff, wonderful dining choices (venison, local whisky & dessert were superb). Scenic view of Uig from atop, only minutes from Fairy Glen."
"This property is a former hunting lodge and has some fabulous character and charm with some updates that enhanced the property, including a beautiful restaurant offering locally sourced dishes. We tried the salmon, cullen skink, venison and beef, all of which were top notch. Wendy was our server and she went above and beyond to take care of us. We only stayed two nights and wished we could have stayed longer as the area and this hotel have so much to offer.
We stayed in the Gate House which had two bedrooms, a sitting room, patios and a large bathroom, with a tub, shower and heated floors. The building and the decor were impressive and a perfect fit for our family.
We enjoyed breakfast each day at the main lodge, which offered a number of breakfast options, all of which we enjoyed.
The service and staff were beyond pleasant and helpful. This property is truly top notch.
We would definitely book here again and hopefully for a longer period of time. "

"A great hotel on the river bank, beside the Skye Bridge, great food and prices, bonus of a great Scottish breakfast, favourite Island and the drive from Glasgow is pretty spectacular..."
"I am so glad we found this place. It was exactly as portrayed: an historic (and idiosyncratic) small inn/hotel; not fancy, very straightforward; on the water in a wonderful location; a great kitchen punching way above its weight. But the best part was its staff. Warm, genuine. I felt cared about by every staff member I interacted with. Kudos."
