A fantastic stay at Kintail Lodge! We stayed in the beautiful room number 1, with a lovely view. Everything was spotlessly clean, fresh, and very comfortable. Helen is a wonderful host, friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Breakfast was excellent, and we had dinners always in their restuarant, which was very good too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back!

The room was clean, and the food here is good. The toilet in our room took a VERY long time to fill up after flushing, and the shower is quite narrow. However, the view is exceptional. The highlight of our stay was a cruise around the loch with Brian. We highly recommend booking this.

The hotel itself was lovely, however we paid extra for a "sea view" room and we only saw a small bit of the gigantic, beautiful lake that was on the other side of the roof! When we questioned, we were told the tide was out and we would see more when the tide came in. I would not pay extra for a room with a view! Our experience was very disappointing. They should not categorize room #2 as a "sea view" room!

Hôtel de type auberge située dans un coin tranquille des Highlands, sur le bord d’un lac. Eilean Donan Castle est à proximité. J’ai trouvé cette auberge tout à fait charmante, dans une vieille maison où les planchers craquent. Ca m’a donné l’impression de visiter le chalet de mes grands-parents. La chambre était très spacieuse et il y avait de délicates attentions (carafe d’eau, petit sablés). Le déjeuner était délicieux.

The hotel was perfectly located for our roadtrip. We didn't have to drive into Isle of Skye when we arrived to the area late in the evening. The staff was welcoming and helpful with our late arrival as well. The room was extraordinary. It had a beautiful water view. The vibe at the hotel was quaint and homey. Everything was well maintained and extremely clean. We would stay again.

Very clean and well kept. The signage could be clearer as it wasn't always clear where things were or when things were open. If you stay in room 3, you'll hear everything in the breakfast room below when breakfast is being served, but the property is beautiful, the food is wonderful, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the room itself was very comfortable. Overall, a great experience.

Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer für 125.- £ und recht hohe Erwartungen. Diese wurden wirklich nicht erfüllt. Die Matratze war ein ausgeleiertes Federkernmodel welches mehr Schmerzen als Wohlgefallen bereitete. Der TV hatte keinerlei Programme, lediglich über ein Roku-Zusatzmodul konnte man eingeschränkt streamen. Darüber hinaus ist ein alter 22-Zoll Tv einfach nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Im winzigen Bad fehlte jedwede Abstellmöglichkeit oder Regal für die Utensilien. Der Ventilator war ohne Funktion. Die Dusche hat einen verstopften Abfluss, man stand immer in 3cm Wasser das nicht abfliessen wollte. Der Duschkopf ist defekt und hat kaum Wasserdruck, noch dazu ist die Halterung ausgeleiert und der Duschkopf sinkt ständig nach unten. Am Waschbecken kommt überhaupt kein warmes Wasser. Soviel zum Zimmer… Beim Frühstück gibt es nirgendwo Teller, wenn man sich also am übersichtlichen Buffet etwas nehmen will kann man das nur auf winzigen Untertellern. Auf Anfrage erhielt ich die Auskunft, das der große Teller ja mit der Bestellung komme. Man wählte sich also sein englisches Frühstück und hatte dann diesen Teller, um darauf seinen Rest fertig zu stellen. Auf dem Tisch stand jeweils eine Zuckerdose mit Deckel. Zwar sehr nachhaltig, aber genauso unhygienisch, da man mit seinem Löffel von der Kaffeetasse daraus den Zucker entnehmen musste. Und am nächsten Morgen steckt der nächste Gast seinen Löffel da hinein… Alles in allem war ich sehr enttäuscht!
