"Property was ideal size and location was good. Under the impression i was able to park in the land next to the property but was told off by another resident. Was advised by owner there is on road parking- should have read this properly! Apartment smelt of cigarettes and cannot take smell out from clothes. Shower had mould around grouting of tiles and needs bringing up-to date. Mattress - springs broken and had a dip did not sleep much. Extractor needs a good clean can see grease on top. Need...

"The house is at the end of a narrow street and is surrounded by greenery and flowers making for a very pleasant outdoor space. Two spacious bedrooms and bath on first floor and kitchen, dining, living room, bedroom and bath on ground floor. Location is just north of the Cam River and an easy walk to punting boat tours which we all thoroughly enjoyed. "Liked the ease and location of the property. It was great place to put our heads down for our visit to family who live locally. I would probably use this place again in the future. Two minor things I would change if it was my property. Better curtains or curtains over the blinds for the bedroom. ( the Venetians let in quite a lot of light for a bedroom) The other thing is the bed in the bedroom is comfortable but is very creaky. "Loved our little place in Grantchester- it was so quaint and had everything we needed. Grantchester is a lovely little village. Parking was available just outside, the unit was clean and it was the perfect size for us. The place is decorated with the host's artwork which is lovely. Our hosts, Tess and her husband, lived next door and were always available (but we had no problems). The location is quiet and an easy drive to Cambridge. "The property is in need of decoration, and maybe a new front door ? For the price, we expected a lot better. Don’t like the idea of a security camera pointing right at you in the back garden (and I don’t believe it has anything to do with security) Paying a fee for a deep clean ? "Quaint cottage sums it up perfectly. The little courtyard sun trap was a real bonus. The cottage is comfortable and convenient and the hosts were happy to attend to any need. Cambridge is beautiful with a real vibe of ernest progress, we really enjoyed our stay."

"Solid location, easy to walk in and out of Cambridge. Home is a bit dated and the basement is definitely musty, but the dehumidifiers help. Great to have three bathrooms, and nice little courtyard and roof top balcony. Felt private, and a small liquor mini mart is right next door which was convenient. "Beautiful and peaceful property tucked away in the hills on the edge of a town with hundreds of years of history. An hour from London or less. Clean and comfortable living and kitchen area, comfy beds, great showers. Friendly hosts who are available if needed.
