"We enjoyed our family vacation. We had 8 adults and 5 kids under 4. Hayward was <15 minute drive. The living room, kitchen, and dining room was perfect for our family. I loved that we could all be together in one space easily. The property outside was very nice - loved the Adirondack chairs! The only feedback is all the stairs were very steep for our 80 year old parents and the 1 year old. "

"Loved the refurbished church, located near the river for our first fishing experience in a river. Location was close to many restaurants and Jack’s canoe/kayaking(another first)"

"This place has anything you could need. Cabinet and drawers are labeled so you can easily find what you need. The knives are even sharp. The backyard is beautiful and the view is incredible. I even got to hear the Loons!!! If I'm ever up in the area again, this would be my go-to house. Thank you for your attention to detail."

"We had a great time in the Birchwood area/the property details was spot on and super clean and cozy. We enjoyed our time here and the trails were right out the door. Plenty of room to park as we had 3 UTV's. Saw plenty of deer right out the patio window. Super quiet and a nice area with the lake right across the rode. We are planning a trip again for next year. :) Recommend this property as a place to stay."

"We had originally planned for 8 adults but due to illness ended up with only 6. It is the perfect size for 6. Eight people would have been cramped. The check in process is cumbersome and would be better with a door combination. Questions to host were responded to fairly quickly. Boat dock was in excellent shape and water is crystal clear"

"Beautiful 4 bedroom home and location (2 bdrms up/2bedrms down with fully exposed walkout basement, gorgeous views, adorable decor, privacy (dead end road), peaceful, accomodating host/manager met all of our needs (a beautiful cooler/water filter system) and the manager filled twice with bottled H20, and took the garbage! Nice private dock, yard and fire pit! Really, no complaints! The only concern was a swimming beach access on the property. With several people with disabilities, we could not...

"The property was easy to find, easy check in, and more than enough room for our family of 5! The owner and the lovely lady who maintained the property after each stay were great to work with. They responded quickly to any questions we had and made us feel very welcomed! We rented the kayaks, paddle boat, and pontoon from the owner. It was probably the highlight of the trip! "Very quiet location, very little movement on the lake by boats or water fowl. The area was large enough for lawn games. We spent 95 percent of our time out doors. The owner was very responsive when questions arise. We loved sitting around the bonfire and looking at the lake "

"It's small yet it was all we needed to enjoy the long weekend with our family of four. The boys spent most of the days on the water in the kayaks. We sat in our chairs on the lawn and enjoyed the lake activity and a campfire. We over-ate and drank some Wisconsin beer. We should have brought coffee and some cooking oil, but the store was close by and open early. We want to stay for a longer visit someday."

"This is our second stay at fishermans paradise. We have a 4 yr old and twin 2 year olds. This location is wonderful in relation to parks there is Narrows park (2min), Moon lake park (less than 5), Roux Park (7min). Our new favorite local to support is Cheese Louise next to Agonic brewing. If you are into coffee shops I recommend Badger Brew - their lemon blueberry scones are divine. Fisherman's paradise is also only 5 mins from Marketplace grocery and liquor store (truly a wonderful selection)....
